• On the road to helping you with your project, our first step is to establish why us. Why should you trust us with your ideas when there are many others in the business of developing sites? What makes us any different?
  • Here are the five main reasons to choose us:
  • Cromoprasios doesn't want your projects, we want to earn them.
  • We believe that in order to serve you better, we need to gain your trust. We're not about getting rich with each site, we want to provide accessibility to quality websites at very low prices. While larger companies pay thousands of dollars to have a website developed, we would like for small-business owners to have the same access to those sites without going over their budget. Just because you're a small business, doesn't mean your website shouldn't look and feel like a real company.
  • Our purpose is to help clients make informed choices. We're not just about creating a website, we make sure our clients understand the fundamentals of how their website will function. We want to make sure you make the most of your website.
  • Affordability should not compromise quality. Although we provide services at very low prices, we believe that the quality our work should not reflect our prices.
  • We really don't want your money if you're not satisfied.

  • A two-person design project, CROMOPRASIOS began in 2008 with the purpose of providing top quality, yet affordable graphic and web design services. It all began after meeting a nice couple who own a small, sort of mom & pop shop that were looking to create a website. During their search for a designer, they kept running into the same problem; most people the couple spoke to wanted to charge a lot. In addition, not only were the prices too high, but on the side extra costs were included for menial updating and maintenance services.

After meeting with them we learned that the couple did not possess any computer skills and were unfamiliar with the whole process of how websites worked. As a result, my partner and I thought that we could come up with a business that helped people set up a site at low prices, while empowering the owners to manage their websites. We knew that the promise of designs at affordable prices would not be enough to set us aside from the many design firms and freelancers already in the business. The difference, however, is the integrity and quality of our work and our mission to empower individuals to take full charge of their websites. There should not be a quality gap between large and small businesses when it comes to having an online presence, due to limited resources or lack of computer skills.

  • Our plan is not to devalue the perception of graphic and web design in the business world. Rather, we intend to educate and inform website owners of what it takes to run a site, and the many free resources available that help reduce costs. Through education we plan to bridge the quality gap of web design. Small-business owners should not have to deal with websites that don't look and feel like a real company, and the pervasiveness of open-source and free resources make it possible to have an impacting web presence through incredibly designed, fully functioning sites.

Because of our background in the Non-Profit sector, we've become aware of the great need in closing the digital divide within underserved communities. Our experience in teaching basic computer classes to adults has given us the drive to help bridge the gap, and we've made it our mission to provide equal access to information technology and the Web. Our focus is not to design top sites only; we want to be able to teach website owners the basics. We take care of the difficult stuff, but when it comes to doing a small maintenance task, or something that doesn't require a person to be too tech savvy, we want to be able to teach it to our clients. Of course, we also try to be on top of things and provide support immediately when required..

  • Our process is divided into five phases. During the first phase we try to get to know our clients as much as possible in order to provide a fully customized design. After gathering the information we need, the second phase is to create a rough draft of what the design and layout will be and submit it for approval. Phase three is to fully modify the design chosen according to the feedback provided, and submit the design again for a second review. We don't stop working on the template and modify it until the client is completely happy with it. Once the design has been fully approved, phase four takes place. We develop a fully working site and upload it to our server in order for the client to review it a third time; this time, however, they decide if they're happy with the layout, interaction and navigation altogether. And lastly, during the final phase, we setup the website on the client's server and go over specifics.

As part of the last phase, we take our time to provide the assistance and tutoring about the basics, discuss updates, maintenance and much more.

  • Our job is to make sure every customer's website is at the forefront of web design technology. We care about providing a service that falls short of large scale businesses with the difference in production costs. • Jim Aesthetically inclined, Jim Rabiela is the ideal person for graphic creations. He has seven years of experience in print design. It all began while attending college for Computer Science; he was offered the opportunity to work in a local newspaper from his native town, which opened the door to work in other small, weekly publications. He spends his leisure time creating typographies, but hasn't completed a family just yet. While not working, you can find Jim surfing the web reading about past type designers and keeping up with design standards. Jim has volunteered as a computer instructor in two local community centers and currently works as the layout artist for a small local boxing magazine.

LuzGraduating from college in 2002 with a Sociology and Spanish double major, Luz Angélica Martínez planned to attend law school. She created her first website in 2001; although not the best looking site, since graphic design is not her forte. Since then, however, Luz spent countless hours teaching herself how to build a website and fell in love with programming altogether. Law school was forgotten, and Luz began working in different non-profit organizations right after college. On the side, Luz kept learning about web design standards and web and browser scripting. Nine years later, she is now working on obtaining a Master's degree in Software Engineering. For leisure Luz loves reading anything and almost everything. While not working, you can find Luz surfing the web learning about new stuff on jQuery.
